This ambitious show had a great success last year and you can see it on July 8 at 7 pm at Place de la Gare-Jean-Talon (Parc-Extension) and on July 12 at 8 pm at Parc Lafontaine. The 375th of Montreal and 150th of Canada will be celebrated in all their diversity with this intercultural and intergenerational dance show combining Bollywood to contemporary dance uniting over a hundred Montreal amateur and professional dancers.
The Mosaic Grand Prizes awarded a total of 8 Diversity Lys trophies in the following categories: media, business, politics, social and community involvement, the grand prize tribute (personality) and the grand prize builder (media, business, organization). This gala presented by the Banque Nationale in collaboration with Médiamosaïque, the only diversity press agency Canada, is an unmissable event of diversity where networking, awards, shows and a gourmet meal are on the menu.
Since 2006, this Diversity Press Agency has published online and organized the “Diversity Summit”, a series of consultations with different levels of government and thousands of people between 2011 and 2013 to find ways to include Diversity issues and voices in the media. Several initiatives such as the “Diversity TOP 20”, “Diversity Month”, the “MosaïCocktails” and the “MosaïZOOM”, have emerged from this study, with the aim of enabling Canadians to better connect with diversity and vice versa.
