Newfoundland, here we come to your Festival of New Dance!
On October 2nd, 2018, Burning Skin will be presented to Saint John’s audiences as part of the 28th Festival of New Dance! This revisited critically acclaimed choreography is danced by Mark Medrano, with text from Roger Sinha.
A technique workshop will also be taught by M. Sinha on Wednesday, October 3rd as part of the workshop series.
Neighbourhood Dance Works presents the Festival of New Dance from September 24 to October 7, 2018. Audiences can expect a full slate of provocative, nuanced, and emotive performances exploring life through movement. NDW’s annual Festival is known for showcasing compelling and provocative contemporary dance works from across Canada while providing main stage opportunities for local choreographers. Our vision is to bring a diverse program that challenges and inspires our community through main stage performances, site-specific events, workshops, discussion forums, film screenings and art exhibitions.
