MoW! first in Longueuil with 80 dancers to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Sinha Danse
After several months of rehearsal the 80 dancers of the MoW! project are ready to present to you an irresistible experience in contemporary dance and Bollywood during two evenings in Longueuil.
For the 25th anniversary of the company, Sinha Danse has embarked on a unique creative project. Bringing together 80 non-professional dancers to create a choreographic work mixing together contemporary dance and Bollywood.
Under the artistic direction of Roger Sinha, with the contribution of Bollywood Choreographer Deepali Lindblom, participants of all ages cultures and experiences have embarked on this unique project. For 5 months non professional dancers and several of the company’s professional dancers have rehearsed together a choreography of 25 minutes which will culminate in an exciting festive experience.
July 1st – 4:30 pm
At Empire park in the neighbourhood of Greenfield Park in Longueuil from 1:00 pm onwards
- 1:00 – 5:30 pm : Family activities
- 2:00 : Departure of the parade
- 4:00 : Ceremony and national anthem
- 4:30 : Irish dance with The Bernadette Short School of Irish Dance followed by MoW! by Sinha Danse
- 5:30 – 6:30 : Bridgeway
- 6:45 – 7:45 : Connie Kaldor and Family
- 8:00 – 9:30 : Kevin Bazinet
- 9:30 – 9:45 : Fireworks
- 9:45 – 11:00 : Patrick Lehman
In case of rain the event will take place in the Arena Cynthia Coull next to the park.
July 2nd – 7:30 pm
At place Charles-Le Moyne in Longueuil (metro station Longueuil – Université de Sherbrooke) from 6:30 pm.
