For its 25th Anniversary, Sinha Danse launches a brand new website with a multitude of events!
2016 is a special year for Sinha Danse who is celebrating 25 years of creation. The variety of activities carried out by the company in recent months is reflective of its continued vitality. It was a very intense and busy year with a Canadian tour for Sunya and several presentations of the piece for young public : Hi5 Lo5 wifi takka takka dhim.
Sinha Danse is now launching its new website, and preparing a special creation and a big celebratory evening.
The new Website reveals a signature created specifically for this anniversary. « My Roots ‘R my Revolution » expresses the essence of choreographer and founder Roger Sinha’s vision. He is currently working on a new large scale creation with nearly 90 non professional dancers. The project is called Montre(olly)wood Aka MoW! and fuses Contemporary Dance and Bollywood (classical, folklore and popular Indian dances combined).
And last but not least, Sinha Danse is preparing to share a toast with you during a special cocktail evening at the MAI (Montréal, arts interculturels) next Fall. One of the special treats of the evening will be a rare glimpse into the new version of Roger
Sinha’s 1992 choreographic success, Burning Skin.
