The year 2025 begins with fantastic news! On January 19th, 2M Solitudes had its Indian premiere at the Jaipur International Film Festival, where it received the Short Fiction Award with a Special Mention from the Jury! Our presence in India marks a major achievement—one we celebrate with immense pride and gratitude.

Our artistic director, Roger Sinha, has long embraced the manifesto “My roots are my revolution,” a philosophy deeply influenced by his father’s Indian heritage. The richness of Indian culture has continuously inspired, shaped, and set him apart throughout his career. For this reason, the screening and recognition of 2M Solitudes in India hold profound significance.

In 2023, we began sharing our two video-dance projects, 2M Solitudes and D’un Souffle Commun. These works embody the powerful artistic fusion between Roger Sinha’s distinctive choreographic language and Damian Siquiero’s immersive visual universe.

Our video-dance creations also reflect a broader shift in how the performing arts are presented today. We felt it essential to rethink our connection with audiences and explore new ways of sharing our work. The video-dance format emerged as a compelling solution—one that not only enhances the accessibility and mobility of our creations but also expands their reach to a wider audience.

2M/Solitudes

2M Solitudes is a feature film born from the collaboration between the Sinha Danse team and the talented Damian Siquieros, exploring states of turmoil, uncertainty and melancholy, contrasted with moments of hope, acceptance and resilience. It encapsulates the conflicting emotions that overwhelm us in times of crisis and profound change. The loneliness brought on by change – both internal and external – comes vividly to life on screen.

Let us tell you that 2M/Solitudes was well received by the audience!!

Shared Breath

This short film is a poignant reminder of our fundamental need for touch and human connection. Created by the same artistic team behind the feature film 2M Solitudes, it shares a similar aesthetic, characterised by a strong compositional structure and a direct yet poetic approach.

Shared Breath was screened at Institut del Teatre, the main part of the audience where dance students and the feedback was truly amazing.
